The Diversity Center is a social profit organization that serves the LGBTQ community of Santa Cruz county.
Their need - To have a larger social media reach to members of the community and allies. The Center has several programs that they wanted to highlight on Facebook with business pages.
They had a Facebook group page, but it was serving more as a forum rather than a business page that presented an identity for their organization.
The solution - In addition to creating a Diversity Center business page - create or update Facebook business pages for each of their programs: Latinos/Latinas, Seniors, Youth, and Triangle Speakers.
Facebook page for the Diversity Center
This is the main Facebook business page created for the Diversity Center. Within the first two months of launch, the page had over 400 likes with engaged fans.
New logo for the Diversity Center
The Diversity Center wanted to roll out their new logo via social media. It was used as the profile picture for each business page to tie their identity to the programs they support.
Conexiones Facebook page
The Latino/a group needed to create a Facebook business page. Their likes and fan engagement more than doubled within the first two months of launch.
60+ Senior Facebook group
The Senior program wanted to create a Facebook group page where members could engage privately with one another. Within the first two months the group had 71 members.
Amber Weiss PA-C LAC
Amber Weiss is a physician assistant and licensed acupuncturist in Santa Cruz county. She is also a Certified Gluten Practitioner, specializing in gluten-related disorders.
Her need - To communicate the opening of her practice and her specialty in gluten-related disorders.
Amber had created a website for her practice but wanted to launch it in conjunction with a Facebook business page to reach her many contacts on social media. She also wanted to highlight her gluten-related disorders specialty.
The solution - Amber has two separate websites - one for her practice, and one for gluten-related disorders. Her Facebook business page points users to information on her different websites.
Amber Weiss Facebook business page
This is Amber's Facebook business page - she uses it to share information and to connect her users with the content on both of her websites.
Amber Weiss website
This is Amber's website for her practice. Notice the similarity in branding with her Facebook page. Visitors can easily go from the website to her Facebook page and visa-versa allowing for maximum exposure on social media.
Amber Weiss Gluten-free page
This is Amber's Gluten-related disorders website. Visitors to the site can reach the website for her practice from here. The website has a separate identity (visual look and feel) because there is much more content she wants to be able to share with her users.
